AMD launches Helios AI rack system, wins Microsoft as Azure customer

AMD announced its first rack‑scale AI system, Helios, which integrates its Instinct GPUs, EPYC CPUs, Pensando networking chips and ROCm software. Microsoft will deploy Helios in Azure, joining early adopters Meta, OpenAI and Oracle. The system is slated to ship to customers later in 2026.
