Adobe adds AI Playground with generative tools to Project Indigo camera app

Adobe is testing an AI Playground inside its experimental iOS camera app Project Indigo. The new suite offers four AI‑driven sections – Object Editing, Styles, Photo Guidance and Custom Edit – that let users remove distractions, apply artistic filters, receive photo critiques and edit images with natural‑language prompts. The features run on Google’s Nano Banana model and are available for free to a small percentage of users for a few weeks, with Adobe saying it may later charge for the service. Data collection is limited to anonymous button‑press metrics, and the tools work only on photos captured within the app.
